Job summary

Unicrimp in Redditch seeks a hands-on Product Manager to shape the ESP product portfolio from concept to launch. You will own product strategy, roadmap, and market-fit across UK wholesale markets, coordinating with overseas factories and internal teams.

You will travel within the UK and overseas to review fire and security projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead documentation updates. Strong communication and analytics are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in a product management role focused on concept-to-launch.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
• Experience building relationships with overseas factories (Far East preferred).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas, sometimes at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a product strategy aligned with market trends, customer needs, and business objectives.
• Create and manage the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of new features and updates.
• Define the value proposition for each product, including good/better/best options for the UK wholesale market.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities and gaps.
• Analyze market trends and customer demands for fire detection, access control and other security products.
• Identify opportunities for product improvements or new offerings based on data-driven insights.
• Create technical documentation such as instructions and specifications.
• Ensure documentation, packaging and instructions meet regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with technical, quality control, design and manufacturing teams on product specs.
• Act as liaison between sales, marketing, operations and technical teams.
• Communicate product updates and milestones to stakeholders.
• Support other departments with customer inquiries as required.
• Monitor product performance using metrics like revenue, profitability, and market share.
• Prepare regular reports and strategic recommendations.
