Job description

THG Ingenuity is a fully integrated digital commerce ecosystem, designed to power brands without limits. Our global end-to-end tech platform is comprised of three products: THG Commerce, THG Studios, THG Fulfilment.

Each represents a single, unified solution, overcoming challenges and taking brands direct-to-consumer. Our client portfolio includes globally recognised brands such as Coca-Cola, Nestle, Elemis, Homebase, and Proctor & Gamble.

Tech at THG Ingenuity

Technology is the driving force behind THG Ingenuity, and it all starts with our people. We are ambitious with our goals and challenge conventional thinking. Technology stands out because we empower every individual to make a significant impact and drive their work forward. Our people are continuously learning, and we work daily to ensure our technology—from software platforms to hosting services to machine learning capabilities and beyond—remains world-class.

As a Product Manager in the Ecomm Platform team, you will define, deliver, and continuously evolve the platform that underpins THG’s commerce business—enabling global scale, rapid brand launches, new features, and industry-leading reliability. Your work will power hundreds of sites across verticals and countries, supporting millions of customers and diverse commercial models.

We’re looking for an experienced and strategic Product Manager to lead the evolution of our eCommerce platform — the core engine that powers our global digital storefronts. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the customer experience from first click through to post-purchase engagement, working across both front-end journeys and foundational platform services.

What You’ll do:

  • Define and communicate the vision, roadmap, and priorities for the core commerce platform, bringing both technical scalability and customer delight to the fore.
  • Translate business requirements, market trends, and client needs into scalable, high-impact platform capabilities.
  • Work hands-on with engineering, UX, data, and commercial teams to deliver extensible solutions that elevate the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Ensure high system availability, security, and platform performance at massive scale, while actively championing customer-centric outcomes.
  • Drive the expansion and refinement of APIs, services, and admin interfaces to unlock richer customer journeys, reduced friction, and greater on-site engagement.
  • Lead migration, modernization, and platform integration projects across regions, embedding user feedback loops at every step.
  • Set and measure success metrics that span both technical health (uptime, scaling, adoption, TCO) and customer experience (NPS, CSAT, task completion, conversion flow, speed to value, repeat engagement).
  • Advocate for platform consistency, ease of use, and a seamless multi-touch customer journey at every level of the business.
  • Collaborate regularly with customer support, trading, and marketing teams to surface pain points, gather actionable feedback, and ensure the voice of the customer directly informs platform and feature evolution.

About you:

  • You make the voice of the customer central to every roadmap decision; you’re relentless about turning feedback, data, and real-world pain points into better experiences.
  • You’re as comfortable running a platform uptime dashboard as you are reviewing CSAT scores, churn reasons, or post-purchase NPS surveys
  • You must balance strong technical curiosity and comfort working with APIs, architecture decisions, and complex integrations with customer facing
  • You see the commerce experience as a dynamic customer journey—where platform quality, delight, and commercial performance all intersect.
  • You are comfortable translating and prioritising customer needs for the platform from the multitude of brands that THG Ingenuity services, working closely with Customer Success and Solution teams to bring the roadmap to life.
  • You live at the intersection of “how does it work?” and “how does it feel?”—prioritising platform investments that unlock measurable improvements in customer engagement, satisfaction, and lifetime value.
  • You push for customer feedback to be embedded in every iteration cycle, using usability testing, analytics, heatmaps, and interviews to back your roadmap bets.

What’s in it for me?

  • Access bespoke development programmes that have been designed and developed by our in-house L&D team.
  • Continued development through our upskilling programme that is delivered in partnership with an industry-leading training provider.

Enhanced Leave

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Don’t want to work on your birthday? We don’t either! Enjoy your day off on us!
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay, depending on length of service.
  • Up to 10 days compassionate leave.
  • Buy back up to 3 days each year.
  • Access face-to-face and virtual appointments with our in-house GP.
  • Access our in-house CBT therapist.
  • Access our 247 Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) which is provided by Bupa.
  • State-of-the-art on-site gym.
  • Access to our on-site physio.

  • Subsidised bus pass from Manchester City Centre to our ICON office.
  • Up to 50% staff discount on THG brands.
  • On-site staff shop.
  • Access to on-site barber.
  • Know someone who would be perfect for THG? Refer them and get up to £1000 when they pass their probation.
  • Anniversary gifts when you hit 5 and 10 years of service.
