Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an intermediate product analyst to support roadmaps, user stories, and acceptance criteria within a RegTech context. You’ll translate requirements for engineering teams and help prioritize the backlog, while coordinating with regulatory experts and cross-functional teams to deliver compliant solutions.

You will gather feedback, support usability studies, and contribute to release communications, ensuring features meet regulatory and business needs across fintech clients.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in product, business analysis, consulting, fintech or RegTech role.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience translating regulatory and operational contexts into product requirements.

Job description

Support the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Translate business requirements into clear product requirements
Work with engineering teams during design, scoping, and feature delivery
Help manage and prioritize the product backlog under guidance from senior product leaders
Support product processes to ensure features meet requirements and are documented and communicated to internal and external audiences
Gather and document feedback from customers, internal teams, and partners
Support user research activities, including interviews, demos, and usability testing
Prepare product documentation, release notes, product newsletters, and other internal and external product communications
Collaborate with Regulatory experts, RegTech engineering, front-end and back-end design teams, commercial teams, and pre-sales teams
Help develop and deliver RegTech solutions that enable financial institutions and regulated businesses to meet compliance requirements efficiently

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in a product, business analyst, consulting, fintech, or RegTech-related role
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience contributing to feature design and translating complex regulatory and operational contexts into clear product requirements
• Understanding of how financial controllers, regulatory reporting teams, and compliance functions operate in practice
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written skills for documenting context, assumptions, and constraints
• Candidates must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting for credit institutions, including the Basel framework and liquidity reporting is desirable
• Good project management skills are desirable
• Degree in Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable
• Jira, Confluence, or similar product management tools are nice to have
• Data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and basic dashboards are nice to have
• Familiarity with API-based or SaaS platforms is nice to have
• Curiosity about regulation and technology’s role in simplifying compliance
• Comfort learning complex subject matter
