Senior Technical Project Manager – German Speaking

Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee SaaS delivery across the full SDLC in a FinTech/Wealth Management context. You will drive Agile ceremonies, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time, on-scope releases.

You'll partner with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations to align roadmaps with sprint goals, manage risks, and report progress to leadership. FinTech SDLC and German language skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience.
• At least 5 years working directly with SDLC projects.
• Proven experience managing product development projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong background as a Scrum Master in fast-paced SDLC environments.
• Deep understanding of release management and continuous delivery practices.
• Ability to engage and influence senior internal stakeholders with confidence.
• Strong organizational skills and a track record of delivering on time, within scope.
• Excellent facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
• FinTech or Wealth Management SDLC experience desirable but not essential.
• German speaking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of software product initiatives across the full SDLC.
• Enforce process discipline within internal product teams.
• Ensure milestones, deliverables, and scope are met.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate release cycles, QA, deployments, and post-release validation.
• Align roadmaps with sprint deliverables and track SaaS delivery milestones.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations for seamless deployments.
• Maintain delivery rigor while adapting Agile practices to SaaS, including continuous delivery and CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify risks, elevate issues, and drive mitigation strategies.
• Provide structured progress reporting to senior internal stakeholders.
