What will you be doing

As the Product Manager for Avantis, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy, roadmap and execution of our ClassVR Solution. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales and customer success, to deliver innovative features and solutions that meet the needs of educators and students.

You will act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that ClassVR continues to deliver value, differentiate in the market and achieve business objectives. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical understanding and a deep passion for education and technology.

Key responsibilities will include

1. Product Strategy and Roadmap
   • Help to define and execute the product vision, strategy and roadmap for ClassVR in alignment with the Company’s overall goals.
   • Conduct market research, competitive analysis and customer feedback sessions to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
   • Prioritise features and initiatives based on business impact, customer needs and technical feasibility.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
   • Work closely with Engineering, Design and Content Teams to deliver high-quality features on time and within scope.
   • Partner with the Marketing Team to develop go-to-market strategies, positioning and messaging for new features and releases.
   • Collaborate with Sales and Retentions Teams to gather insights, address customer pain points and drive adoption.
3. Customer Focus
   • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs and feedback are central to product development.
   • Engage with educators, administrators and students to understand their challenges and how ClassVR can address them.
   • Monitor product performance and usage metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
4. Execution and Delivery
   • Write clear and detailed product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
   • Manage the product backlog and ensure alignment across teams.
   • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch evaluation.
5. Innovation & Industry Trends
   • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in EdTech, VR/AR and immersive learning technologies.
   • Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate ClassVR in the market.

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Education or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience in product management, preferably in EdTech, VR/AR or SaaS platforms.
• Proven track record of managing and launching successful products.
• Strong understanding of product management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Jira).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Passion for education and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by educators and students.
• Technical aptitude and the ability to work closely with Engineering and Content Teams.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
