Product Manager

Organisation:Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO)

WorkLocation:Barnsdale Way, Grove Park, Enderby, Leicester, LE19 1ES

Salary: £34,350 - £37,950 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

WorkingHours:37 Hours per week, Full time

ContractType: Permanent

Closing Date:25 th May 2025

About the Role

As a Product Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, developing and implementing products for a range of catalogue products within defined product categories. Meeting current customer expectations and future demands and that products are in line with industry standards/best practice.Building strong relationship with catalogue suppliers ensuring the SLA's/KPIs are adhered to.

About You

To apply for this post, you must:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience in this field.
  • Experience of product management in a medium size organisation preferably related to catalogue product merchandising.
  • Experience in Supplier Relationship Management methodology and practice with supplies of all sizes in various market places.
  • Proven track record of managing workloads to meet deadlines - a key aspect of catalogue product range development.
  • An ability to interpret analysis of data sets, reports, feedback and trends etc and develop product ranges based on this on knowledge.
  • Product category/portfolio knowledge required in at least one key market sector.
  • Excellent communications skills: the role involves significant interface and liaison with customers, stakeholders, suppliers, internal teams, Competence in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and the ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
