An employer is seeking a PLM Consultant for a long-term contract opportunity to work remotely in the UK. This role involves joining a leader in the MedTech industry to provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support in Product Configuration Management (PCM). Responsibilities include authoring UAT test cases to verify functionality in Windchill and supporting the creation of PCM training materials and procedures. Essential functionalities include:

1. PDMLink for parts, eBOM, mBOM, plans, design review, reporting, and product structure.
2. MPMLink for resources, process plans, enterprise data, and extended data.
3. Change management for PCM capabilities, including change requests, change notices, and change tasks.

The project will proceed through three phases: UAT, support in creating training materials, and supporting the migration of Afile e6 PLM to Windchill PCM capabilities. The duration is estimated between 8 to 24 months.

Qualifications:

• Experience authoring UAT test cases for Windchill functionality.
• Proficiency with PTC Windchill, specifically PDMLink and MPMLink functionalities.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Atlassian Jira and Xray is advantageous.
• Language requirements: English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus.
