Job summary

Nexcade AI is building the AI platform freight forwarders rely on, expanding from quoting to end-to-end shipment lifecycle. As Product Lead, you will shape focus areas and translate decisions into customer-facing products that scale revenue.

You will work closely with founders and customers, turning insights into prototypes, coordinating with engineering, and driving fast iteration while maintaining high standards of product thinking.

Qualifications

• Strong product judgement demonstrated in complex B2B products.
• Product taste: turn complex workflows into simple, trustworthy products.
• Technical fluency across AI, data, integrations, and architectures.
• Excellent judgement: translate insights into measurable adoption and revenue.
• High agency and directness; comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration.
• Obsess over the problem; industry experience is a bonus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap, priorities and performance of specific products from problem definition through launch and adoption.
• Build products from customer insight by working with freight forwarders across roles.
• Prototype and build: create working prototypes and early versions with engineering support.
• Drive product expansion by mapping markets and identifying new workflows to enter.
• Define success metrics, test assumptions, and document clear recommendations.
• Build the product operating system with disciplined planning and decision cadence.
• Make trade-offs between shared capabilities and product-specific approaches.
