Nexcade in London is building an AI-enabled operating system for logistics professionals, transforming how people communicate and optimize the trillions of dollars spent annually in the sector. You will own the roadmap and define the customer problems through to launch and adoption.
This is a hands-on product leadership role: you’ll work closely with founders and engineers, shape strategy across freight-forwarding workflows, and translate complex needs into simple, trusted products.
People assume the supply chain is an automated, algorithmic system. In reality, hundred of thousands of operators acting as the glue between organisations and systems, doing work the world depends on, with tools that have barely changed in decades and spending hours a day on email. Nexcade is building the agentic operating system for those people, transforming the way people communicate and optimise the $1T spend on logistics every year.
Own the roadmap, priorities and performance of specific products, from defining the customer problem through launch, rollout and adoption. Partner with the founders on overall product direction and strategy. Work closely with freight forwarders across commercial and operational roles. Understand how they work, identify the problems customers share and build products for those needs rather than one‑off solutions. Turn ideas into working prototypes and early product versions, using AI tools and code to test them with customers. Work hands‑on with engineering to take promising ideas into production, not just write specs and hand them over. Build a clear view of the market, including where we win, where we do not compete and why customers choose us. Use that understanding to identify the next workflows Nexcade should enter and turn them into products that grow revenue. Define success measures, test assumptions and examine accuracy, edge cases and second‑order effects before scaling. Write clear specs and decision documents, including a written recommendation on the hard calls. Establish a clear planning and decision‑making cadence without adding bureaucracy. Make sure product meetings are well prepared, teams have the context they need and decisions translate into shipped work. Work closely with engineering to decide when to invest in shared capabilities and when a faster, product‑specific approach is right.
You have owned meaningful product work in a complex B2B product and can show how your decisions changed customer behaviour or business results. You define success clearly and test assumptions, accuracy and edge cases before scaling. You can turn complex workflows into products that feel simple, coherent and trustworthy. You care about the details that make people choose to use them. You work effectively with strong engineers, understand trade‑offs across architecture, AI, data and integrations and bring the customer and product perspective to choices about speed, quality and reuse. You get beyond what customers ask for to understand how their work really happens and distinguish repeatable needs from bespoke requests. You use customer and market insight to make product choices that drive adoption, expansion and revenue. You take ownership, hold a high bar and disagree openly and constructively. You are comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration and changing priorities. You are drawn to complex, messy problems in industries the economy depends on and want to understand how the people and systems behind them really work. Будет плюсом: Industry experience is a bonus, but not required
In person, in London. We value synchronous communication. Our product is already live with leading freight forwarders and this role will shape what comes next. You will build AI for the work that keeps global trade moving, alongside a team from Palantir, Raft, Faculty, UnlikelyAI and Oxford. You will get meaningful equity in the company you help build.
