Job summary

Good Egg Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Product Manager for a Coventry-based, office-based role with a salary of £45,000-£50,000pa plus benefits. The role focuses on governance, data accuracy and robust product information across ERP and OpenECX to ensure compliant and timely product introductions.

The candidate will partner with suppliers and internal teams to maintain product standards, drive a right-first-time approach, and support lifecycle governance across systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in product management or similar.
• Experience managing product information and technical documentation.
• Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting ERP systems and product data management.

Responsibilities

• Product Governance & Product Introduction
• Own and manage the New Product Introduction (NPI) process
• Act as the approval gatekeeper for all new products entering the business
• Ensure all products meet technical, operational, quality and compliance requirements
• Ensure all required documentation, specifications and approvals are completed before products are released
• Maintain and continuously improve product governance processes
• Ensure product changes are properly controlled and documented
• Work directly with suppliers to establish and maintain product specifications
• Drive a "right first time" approach to product development and introduction
• Monitor supplier performance relating to product quality and specification compliance
• Support investigations and corrective actions relating to product issues
• Plastic Packaging Tax Return (HMRC – Quarterly)
• Extended Producer Responsibility (Environmental Agency bi-annually)
• Act as owner of product master data across all business systems
• Maintain accurate product specifications, dimensions, weights, certifications, technical information and product attributes
• Ensure consistency of product information across ERP, OpenECX, websites, catalogues and customer platforms
• Develop and enforce product data governance standards
• Lead product data cleansing and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure all product information remains accurate, complete and up to date
• Lead ERP/OpenECX & Business Systems improvements
