Moog in the United Kingdom is seeking a Product Engineer - Operations Support to drive improvement in Electro Hydraulic Servo Valve (EHSV) build and test processes. You will collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure quality, delivery, and performance targets are met.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background, knowledge of hydraulics, and hands-on experience with manufacturing processes. Travel within the UK is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of mechanical or process engineering experience (Engineer level).
• Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic principles.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Experience in precision manufacturing or process engineering.
• Experience with assembly instructions and production worksheets; MS Word.
• Willingness to travel within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support Electro Hydraulic Servo Valve (EHSV) build and test processes in Assembly & Test to meet delivery requirements across variants.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement actions to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Analyze build and performance data to support process optimization and informed engineering decisions.
• Develop and improve manufacturing and test processes to increase yield and reduce risk of product failure.
• Utilize procedures, equipment, and engineering standards to generate and interpret technical data.
• Collaborate with sustainment test equipment teams to diagnose and resolve software, electronics, hydraulic, and product-related testing issues.
• Support investigations of production issues with rapid containment actions and long-term corrective solutions.
• Assist with process changes and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance.
• Partner with technicians, production leads, and cross-functional teams to support operational excellence.
