Job summary

Teton.ai is seeking a Product Engineer to own customer-facing features from first conversation with care teams to production rollout across web, mobile, and APIs. You will work across the stack, talk to users, and drive scope to shrink the time from request to deployed solution while maintaining reliability and residents' data privacy.

You will collaborate with care staff and customer success, sketch solutions, and push them forward.

Qualifications

Strong TypeScript skills.
Production experience with React on the web and/or React Native.
Comfortable working across the stack: APIs and relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).
Great product taste and a keen eye for UX, collaboration with designers.
Comfortable talking directly with non-technical users and turning feedback into decisions.
Previous startup experience and/or shipping a product from idea to adoption.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Feature Development: Own features end-to-end from design through production rollout across web, mobile, and APIs.
Customer Insight: Talk to care staff and customer success teams; visit facilities; turn feedback into scoped product changes.
Fast Iteration: Break large designs into small shippable pieces; deploy MVPs quickly and measure usage.
Backend & APIs: Design and build APIs, data models and services; shape and improve the systems behind them.
Quality, Privacy & Safety: Ship with privacy by default; implement access controls, audits, and staged rollouts.
