Job description

Quantile offers market-leading optimisation services that reduce counterparty risk, notional, and capital requirements to increase the efficiency and liquidity of derivatives markets, improve returns for clients, and make the financial system safer.

We are part of LSEG's Post Trade division, where we connect a network of participants and use advanced algorithms to reduce risk and release capital. Since launch, our services have eliminated trillions of dollars of gross notional through interest rate compression and billions of dollars in initial margin and capital requirements through counterparty risk optimisation.

Our clients include top-tier global banks, regional banks, buy-side firms, and other large institutional market participants, serviced from offices in London, New York, and Amsterdam, with Tokyo coming soon.

Duties and Responsibilities

Product Design and Delivery

• Contribute to the design of new products
• Continuously enhance existing products/services, considering client needs and the competitive landscape
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of product enhancements to clients

Service Growth and Client Communication

• Explain all aspects of products/services to clients, including benefits, features, and processes (creating presentations as needed)
• Ongoing explanation of optimisation results to clients, including insights on results and improvement strategies
• Work with relationship management and production teams to ensure clients understand key product features
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with clients to understand their needs and address issues

Requirements and Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in relevant roles such as derivative trading or structuring; experience in quantitative roles is a plus (e.g., exotics trading, quantitative analyst, CVA trading)
• Deep understanding of IR, FX, equity derivatives, including risk and pricing models; FX options experience is a plus
• Knowledge of cleared margin, SIMM, leverage ratio (CEM, SA-CCR), RWA, CCAR
• Degree in a numerate discipline such as mathematics, physics, or engineering; advanced degrees (MSc/PhD) are a plus
• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex quantitative issues to clients of varying sophistication
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams on modeling issues
• Team player with a focus on delivery
