Job summary

Travelers Europe is seeking a Product Development Specialist to join our Wordings & Product team. You'll bring hands-on commercial underwriting and policy wording experience to shape, design, and evolve our product portfolio.

You’ll work with the Business Insurance Leadership team and SMEs to develop underwriting appetite, rules, procedures, and wordings; and provide technical consults on IT scope and product configuration.

Qualifications

• Solid insurance underwriting experience.
• Thorough understanding of Business Insurance products, systems, contracts, forms, coverage, distribution channels, regulatory environment and insurance financials.

Responsibilities

• Support technical product development for new or updated products with SMEs.
• Deliver underwriting parameters including appetite, line size, rules, and risk survey parameters.
• Design the scope of wordings with customer research and ensure robustness.
• Draft technical collaterals and underwriter training materials.
• Provide IT/technical consultation for product integration and testing.
• Maintain governance logs and progress reports.
