Role:

Join our Grocery team as a Product Development Technologist to deliver innovative products and new business opportunities with major retailers. Manage high-profile projects, meet critical deadlines, and drive innovation across initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Input recipes into the management system to assess costs and nutritional information.
• Coordinate with NPD buyers and the packaging innovation team for material requirements.
• Prepare and verify all documentation necessary for product approval.
• Assist with kitchen-made samples for internal panels, nutritional testing, and presentations.
• Plan and prepare product samples, including ordering, transportation, and documentation.
• Conduct organoleptic testing throughout the product's shelf life and suggest recipe adjustments.
• Follow project timelines and escalate risks or delays promptly.
• Incorporate sustainability considerations into product development.
• Label and pack samples accurately for external shipment.
• Purchase ingredients and benchmark samples as needed.

Travel to customer sites and other locations is required; a full UK driving license is essential.
