Job summary

Onward Search in Milton Keynes is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our global manufacturing team. The role is permanent and hands‑on, covering engineering, design, testing, and customer support, with travel as needed to installations and supplier visits.

You will design and develop new products using CAD tools, assemble prototypes, validate installations, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver production‑ready designs that meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Product Design Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Proven ability to develop and launch innovative, functional products.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications and change notices.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for installations, meetings, and supplier visits.
