Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of changes to existing products, ensuring compliance with medical device standards.
• Manage design change projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and risk management.
• Develop concepts through prototyping, lab testing, and evaluation.
• Ensure product designs are fit for purpose, feasible, and cost-effective.
• Assess sustainability benefits of new designs or material changes.
• Prepare technical reports and design documentation for review.
• Provide technical expertise in product design and decision-making.
• Review and approve testing reports, regulatory documents, and specifications.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Degree in Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in product change roles within manufacturing, preferably in regulated industries.
• Strong understanding of user requirements, concept development, and product refinement.
• Experience with test development, data analysis, and statistical interpretation.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
• Experience in packaging design.
