Job Description:

IMMEDIATE START

We have partnered with a beautiful luxury fashion brand that requires an experienced PD/Production Manager to deliver luxury garments with the trims, fabrication, fit, and quality expected of this brand.

Knowledge of European and British manufacturing for womenswear garments, using varied fabrications, is required. Experience with embroideries, embellishments, and trims is ideal.

Strong luxury garment construction knowledge is essential, as you will be collaborating with a small atelier.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the critical path
• Manage factories, pre-empting and resolving garment construction issues
• Ensure all fit notes, tech packs, and specs are accurate and submitted to the factory
• Select the current factory to produce each garment
• Advise on trend, styling, fabrication, fit, and trims
• Troubleshoot production or product style issues
• Manage relationships with factories and mills
• Fit garments alongside pattern cutters and designers
• Ensure design vision is executed through the product
• Partner with the design team daily
• Negotiate prices with factories
• Keep the team and creative director updated throughout the process
• Support material sourcing and research
• Ensure lead times are met
• Ensure delivery of materials to the production team and finished goods to stockists

The successful candidate will:

• Have a minimum of 3 years experience in production, ideally within a luxury womenswear brand
• Display a strong understanding of sustainable policies
• Have factory relationships across Europe
• Possess strong critical path management and negotiation skills
• Be a strong team player with good communication skills
