Job Description:

IMMEDIATE START

We have partnered with a beautiful luxury fashion brand that requires an experienced PD/Production Manager to deliver luxury garments with the trims, fabrication, fit, and quality expected of this brand.

Knowledge of European and British manufacturing for womenswear garments, using varied fabrics, is required. Experience with embroideries, embellishments, and trims is preferred.

Strong luxury garment construction knowledge is essential, as you will be working closely with a small atelier.

Key responsibilities:

1. Manage the critical path
2. Manage factories, pre-empting and resolving garment construction issues
3. Ensure all fit notes, tech packs, and specs are accurate and submitted to the factory
4. Select the appropriate factory for each garment
5. Advise on trend, styling, fabrication, fit, and trims
6. Troubleshoot production or product style issues
7. Manage relationships with factories and mills
8. Fit garments alongside pattern cutters and designers
9. Ensure design vision is executed through the product
10. Collaborate daily with the design team
11. Negotiate prices with factories
12. Keep the team and creative director updated throughout the process
13. Support material sourcing and research
14. Ensure lead times are met
15. Coordinate delivery of materials to production and finished goods to stockists

The successful candidate will:
