Greencore in Bourne is seeking a Product Developer to drive new and existing recipes across fresh produce categories, balancing taste, cost and nutrition to deliver commercially viable products.

You will collaborate with chefs, technologists and commercial teams, manage recipe data, review feasibility, and support scale-up trials while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role offers the opportunity to contribute to a leading UK food producer with a strong focus on innovation and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food product development.
• Analytical and able to produce costings.
• Experience from concept to launch.
• Proven track record in validating products and documentation.
• Confident presenting to all levels and customers.
• Experience in people management.

Responsabilités

• Develop new and modify existing recipes to meet briefs and cost targets.
• Input and review recipes on the management system with cost, weight, and nutrition checks.
• Assess new raw ingredients for operational and technical viability.
• Prepare feasibility forms and handovers for internal and external use.
• Lead product costing and balance quality with commercial targets.
• Present benchmarking and new products to internal and customers.
• Support scale-up trials to ensure production matches kitchen standards.
• Provide leadership to ensure safety, engagement and development within the team.
