Greencore in Bourne is recruiting a Product Development Technologist to validate product developments and provide documentation to promote customer acceptance through to launches.

You will input recipes, coordinate materials, prepare feasibility and submission forms, and support kitchen testing for internal panels and external presentations. A degree in food science and strong numeracy are preferred.

Formación

• Degree in food/nutrition science or equivalent
• Experience/knowledge of food environment
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Input recipes onto the recipe management system to assess cost and nutrition information against the brief
• Brief new and revised material requirements to ensure resources are available for product development
• Prepare documentation (feasibility forms, submission forms, handovers) for product developer approval
• Assist with kitchen-made samples for internal panels, nutritional testing and customer presentations
• Plan and prepare product samples, coordinating orders and courier transport, documenting findings for next steps
• Complete kitchen organoleptic testing and suggest recipe reformulations to maintain shelf-life and quality
• Follow critical path timelines and escalate risks to prevent delays
• Apply sustainability considerations to NPD/EPD with supporting data input
• Accurate labelling and boxing of samples; source ingredients and benchmark samples
