What does a Product Designer do at Busuu in the B2B Tribe?

The B2B Tribe consists of three small squads: one technical team, and two focused on different personas: Learning & Development Managers (L&D Managers) and Employees/Learners.

As a Product Designer, your focus will be on:

• Helping L&D Managers monitor and communicate their impact within their organizations.
• Activating and engaging employees in their learning journeys.

You will have the opportunity and challenge to influence various products tailored to these personas.

You will own the transition from identifying problems to developing solutions, working closely with Product Managers, engineers, and data analysts.

You will identify new problems and opportunities through qualitative and quantitative research methods.

You will validate hypotheses using industry best practices such as rapid prototyping and A/B testing, ensuring solutions are Valuable, Feasible, and Viable.

Your approach will always be outcome-driven, aligning solutions with business goals.

With team support, you will design and deliver impactful solutions primarily focused on the web experience, with potential expansion to mobile later, and iterate based on learnings.

You will collaborate with the sales team to understand business challenges, using these insights to run lean tests and pilots with clients.

What we’re looking for in a Product Designer

• At least 3 years of product design experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working alongside PMs, engineers, and stakeholders.
• End-to-end experience in the product design lifecycle, including research, user interviews, usability testing, developer handoff, and performance measurement.
• A portfolio demonstrating how your work has improved business metrics.
• Expertise in Figma and experience creating and maintaining design systems.
