We’re looking for a passionate Product Designer who is dedicated to putting the customer at the core of our work.

Role Overview

This is a 10-month maternity fixed-term contract. Your goal will be to craft products and experiences that delight users at every touchpoint, surpassing expectations.

In collaborative, cross-functional teams, you’ll tackle complex challenges, designing user-centered solutions aligned with our business objectives. You’ll lead design initiatives, conduct user research, and develop innovative, data-informed solutions that reflect our vision.

We value data-driven decision-making, so you’ll utilize qualitative and quantitative insights to guide strategic choices. Your creativity and attention to detail will ensure our products are not only functional but also enjoyable, maintaining a consistent design language.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design intuitive, user-centered solutions that meet customer needs and support business goals.
  • Collaborate with agile teams to incorporate data-guided design practices.
  • Conduct user research, analyze data, and apply insights to refine designs.
  • Use your understanding of business and product strategy to inform design decisions.
  • Engage with stakeholders during requirements gathering and solution design.
  • Participate actively in agile ceremonies like stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Advocate for the customer throughout the design and delivery process.
  • Support iterative delivery, using data to drive progress.
  • Embrace agile and lean practices, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to PPG’s design language for consistency.
  • Assess risks and develop mitigation strategies with delivery leads.
  • Mentor colleagues in data analysis and design interpretation to foster team growth.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Experience in Agile software delivery, especially for business applications.
  • Strong visual design skills, including principles of tone, color, and UI across platforms.
  • Proficiency in user research and deriving insights to inform design.
  • Skilled in design tools like Figma and Mural for creating wireframes, sitemaps, and prototypes.
  • Excellent collaboration, presentation, organization, and time management skills.
  • Degree or equivalent in Interaction Design, Psychology, HCI, Industrial Design, or related fields.
  • Experience transitioning software to SaaS is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the Education sector is a plus but not required.
