Role & Responsibilities
Role Overview
As a Product Designer, you will be a champion for our users, playing a pivotal role in shaping the end user experience of our video platform. You will collaborate closely with product, engineering and commercial teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from user research and wireframing to high fidelity UI design, prototyping, and testing. Your focus will be on understanding user needs, defining product strategy, and creating intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing experiences for our B2B customers.
Key Responsibilities
- User Research & Analysis:
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability studies, to gather insights into user needs, goals, and pain points.
- Analyse user data and feedback to identify opportunities for improving the user experience.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate user insights and inform design decisions.
- Information Architecture & Interaction Design:
- Define the information architecture of our platform, ensuring content is organized in a clear, logical, and intuitive manner.
- Design interaction flows and wireframes to illustrate how users will navigate and interact with the platform.
- Develop prototypes (low-fidelity and high-fidelity) to test and validate design concepts.
- UI Design & Prototyping:
- Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring consistency with our brand and design system.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes to communicate detailed design solutions.
- Develop and maintain UI style guides and design systems.
- Collaboration & Strategy:
- Work closely with product managers to define product strategy and ensure the user experience aligns with business goals.
- Collaborate effectively with developers to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of designs.
- Facilitate design workshops and participate in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
- Usability Testing & Iteration:
- Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze usability testing results and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development process.
Required
Skills & Experience
- Educational background in UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, or related fields (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1–2 years of professional experience in product or UX/UI design (including internships/freelance projects).
- Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Solid understanding of Web tech and design such as HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
- A portfolio showcasing strong user-centered design thinking and problem-solving.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate design decisions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and provide/receive constructive feedback.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to design challenges.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and stay current with design trends.

- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Usability testing methodologies
Preferred
- Experience designing for B2B SaaS products or enterprise software.
- Familiarity with video production or editing workflows and technologies.
- Experience applying user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, usability testing).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and how to apply them.
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript and modern web technologies.
