Product Designer (BBBH602) City of London, England

Product Designer (UX/UI) - 6 months contract – Up to £500 a day – Remote working

My client, an international bank, is seeking a Product Designer with strong UX capabilities and solid UI skills to join their team on a 6-month contract. You will contribute to designing critical customer journeys in digital banking, including:

• Sending payments; Requesting payments; Splitting payments; Sending money to ATMs; Scanning QR codes to pay; Transferring between foreign currency accounts, etc.

Working under the guidance of a Senior UX Lead, you’ll be responsible for creating seamless, user-focused experiences that align with the design system and meet high usability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design end-to-end user journeys and interfaces for mobile and web banking features
• Apply user-centered design principles to solve complex interaction problems
• Collaborate closely with UX leads, product managers, developers, and stakeholders
• Iterate quickly based on feedback, testing insights, and analytics
• Maintain consistency and accessibility across experiences

Requirements:

• Previous experience in UX/UI or Product Design roles
• Excellent UI design skills with attention to detail and system consistency
• Experience working with established design systems (e.g., Figma, Sketch)
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, agile teams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in banking or fintech, especially payments-focused experience, is highly desirable
