Job summary

Barbour is seeking a Business Process Partner (Product Creation and GTM) to lead the design, governance and continuous improvement of end-to-end product creation and go-to-market processes from our South Shields head office. The role shapes opportunities, defines future ways of working and ensures change delivers measurable value.

The role is based at our Head Office in South Shields with an expectation of working 4 days in the office and 1 day of home-working.

Qualifications

• Experience in product development, merchandise planning, sourcing, GTM, or business process improvement.
• Experience across multiple functions in retail, wholesale, apparel or consumer products.
• Experience with PLM, PIM, DAM or related product-data platforms.
• Strong end-to-end process analysis, facilitation and future-state design.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to translate priorities into practical process improvements.
• Analytical problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to lead through influence and manage ambiguity.
• Knowledge of requirements, testing, adoption and benefits realisation.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with departmental heads to understand priorities and activities.
• Frame problems and opportunities with outcomes, ownership, scope and risks.
• Lead cross-functional decisions and resolve ownership issues.
• Map and analyse concept creation, range planning, design, product development and go-to-market activities.
• Define future-state processes, roles, controls and adoption measures.
• Maintain a source of truth for process documentation and update SOPs.
• Support owners to govern performance and continuous improvement roadmaps.
• Develop evidence-based recommendations and business cases for change.
• Coordinate with project managers to scope milestones and adoption plans.
• Define and monitor measures for flow, quality and readiness.
