An exciting opportunity for a Product Controller to join a leading Global Banking Group and play a key role within their London-based Global Middle Office team.

This is a highly analytical and commercially focused role, supporting their Global Equities & Financing Solutions (GEFS) business across a range of trading strategies including Relative Value, Index Arbitrage, and Event Driven.

You’ll act as a bridge between the front office and finance, providing critical insight and control across daily and monthly P&L, reconciliation, and reporting. The role also involves strategic input into new business initiatives and maintaining a strong internal control environment.

Responsibilities:

• Daily and monthly P&L production, including flash commentary and variance analysis
• Front-to-back reconciliation and month-end GL close
• Preparation and presentation of management accounts to senior stakeholders and ALCO
• Support for new business initiatives and internal projects
• Review of P&L attribution and performance metrics
• Contribution to planning and forecasting processes for global HQ

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Product Control or Middle Office
• Strong understanding of equity and derivative trading strategies
• Experience working with front office teams is highly advantageous
