Product Controller - Macro Index Product Control Team

Join our Macro Index Product Control Team as a Product Controller at JPMorgan Chase.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate in the Macro Index Trading Desk, you will analyze daily profit and loss (P&L) and risk, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will collaborate with the Front Office trading desk, Financial Control, Market Risk, and support functions, working with index products such as commodities, rates, equities, FX, and credit. Your role will drive efficiencies and uphold global standards in P&L and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and report daily P&L and risk.
• Validate daily P&L explains, including Volcker attributions.
• Develop and implement controls and processes for P&L/Risk.
• Provide P&L commentary to senior management.
• Investigate and resolve MTD P&L breaks with Financial Control.
• Partner with the business on controls and initiatives.
• Coordinate across support functions for issue resolution.

Qualifications

Required

• Experience in Product Control, Financial Control, or related areas.
• Knowledge of P&L and month-end processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions.

Preferred

• Understanding of financial products.
• Experience in trading environments.
• Proficiency in financial analysis tools.
• Ability to drive process improvements.
• Knowledge of global product control standards.
