The Product Control Analyst is responsible for providing robust valuation, Profit & Loss (P&L), risk measurement, monitoring, and reporting across the company’s key trading activities. The role focuses on assessing and explaining the drivers of P&L, positions, exposures, and associated risks, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and aligned with established risk frameworks, policies, limits, and controls. Working closely with Front Office, Market Risk, Senior Management, and wider business stakeholders, the Analyst provides insightful analysis and commentary, identifies and escalates key risks or limit breaches, and offers practical risk advice to support informed business decisions.
In this role you will also play an important part in strengthening the wider Product Control function through continuous improvement, automation, and the development of effective tools and processes using technologies such as Excel, VBA, SQL, and Python. You will support the onboarding of new products, instruments, markets, and trading activities, performs valuation and methodology verification, and contributes to business-wide projects and risk initiatives. You are expected to work independently and collaboratively, translate complex quantitative concepts into clear and commercially relevant insights, and deliver high-quality solutions within tight deadlines.
Potential Secondment or Fixed Term Contract until 31/03/2027
Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
