Job description

A hugely successful company close to Leigh is looking for an experienced Product Compliance Manager. The role offers a salary of £40,000 with lots of benefits including an annual bonus, pension scheme, free parking and holidays that increase to 24 days plus bank holidays over time (including your birthday as an extra day off!), staff rewards and more!

What will you be doing as a Product Compliance Manager?

You will be responsible for all product compliance to ensure that it meets current regulatory standards include developing and implementing a compliance program for all product as well as building and managing a supplier audit plan. Duties will include:

• Developing, implementing, and updating company compliance policies and procedures for product compliance
• Overseeing a team member to assist in the compliance department
• Conducting ethical audits of factories to ensure standards
• Liaising with factories to resolve noncompliance issues
• Developing and implementing a regular programme to track auditing
• Helping the company establish and maintain chain of custody for FSC, GRS Recycled Product, and GOTS certifications
• Ensuring all products adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements
• Liaising with regulatory bodies and maintaining relationships to ensure compliance and awareness of new developments
• Assisting in the setup and implementation of regulatory standards
• Developing and implementing procedures and practices to comply with these standards.
• Maintaining detailed records of compliance activities, audits, and investigations.
• Ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible for regulatory inspections
