Job summary

SUCCESS TALENT is seeking a Product Compliance Manager for a hybrid role in Manchester. You will oversee regulatory compliance across Toys, Electronics, Packaging, Food Contact Materials, and Labelling to ensure all products meet applicable standards and requirements.

Key duties include creating Declarations of Conformity, coordinating product testing, and maintaining compliance documentation while guiding the business through regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Must be familiar with product compliance regulations across Toys, Electronics, Packaging, Food Contact Materials, and Labelling

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments to ensure products meet compliance requirements
• Create and maintain Declarations of Conformity and update with legislative changes
• Guide and train the business on compliance matters and maintain a compliance roadmap
• Arrange product testing to relevant standards
• Collaborate with quality teams and third-party compliance partners
• Work with suppliers to obtain current test reports
• Engage with regulatory bodies as needed
• Maintain a database of approved products and complete technical files
• Respond to compliance inquiries and provide client support
• Offer internal compliance helpdesk support

A leading company in promotional merchandise is seeking a Product Compliance Manager to oversee and enhance its product compliance processes and procedures.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products, across categories such as Toys, Electronics, Packaging, Food Contact Materials, and Labelling, are compliant with applicable regulations and standards. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting risk assessments to ensure products sourced and sold meet all relevant compliance requirements.
• Creating and maintaining Declarations of Conformity, updating them in line with changes to product legislation.
• Guiding, training, and updating the wider business on compliance matters, and maintaining a compliance roadmap to prepare the business for upcoming regulatory changes.
• Arranging product testing in accordance with relevant standards.
• Collaborating with quality teams to manage relationships with third-party compliance partners.
• Working with suppliers to obtain valid and up-to-date test reports for products.
• Engaging with regulatory bodies as needed.
• Maintaining a database of approved products and ensuring all technical files are complete and up to date.
• Responding to external product compliance inquiries and providing client support as required.
• Offering internal support through the compliance helpdesk.
