Job summary

Medstrom is hiring a Product Cleaner to join our Logistics team in Castle Donington, Derbyshire. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday, with a starting salary of £24,784.50 and a comprehensive induction.

You will clean, test, repair and prepare hospital beds and mattresses, manage inventory, ensure quality processes, and provide timely service to field technicians. Basic PC skills are required; a full driving licence is an advantage; full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Basic hygiene and safety knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
• MS Office/PC skills required.
• Full driving licence is an advantage but not essential as the role is site-based.
• Electrical safety testing qualification or certificate desirable but not essential, training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, testing, and repairing products (hospital beds and mattresses) to be ready for use.
• Maintaining an inventory of products and spare parts.
• Ensuring compliance with quality processes, both internal and external.
• Meeting daily product preparation targets.
• Delivering a timely and appropriate service to field technicians.
• Completing and recording electrical safety testing on products during tasks; training provided.
• Maintaining workplace cleanliness.
• Completing daily/weekly activity reports.
• Updating relevant IT systems.
