Job Description

Title: Product & Compliance Co-ordinator

Reporting to: Quality Assurance Manager

Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Location: Cheadle, SK8

What’s the job ‘in one’?

This is a data processing role supporting Quality Assurance for Wine Product and Producer information. It involves working closely with the technical team to manage product data for UK Bottled products and coordinating across Compliance, Product Managers, and Marketing departments.

What will this involve?

1. Support and maintain quality assurance processes, especially the Supplier Approval Questionnaire (SAQ), within the Boutinot Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with BRC standards.
2. Assist in maintaining the Bottle Books Agency database, focusing on updates and ongoing support.
3. Manage Bottle Books entries for Own Production, Greencroft, and related QR codes following technical workflows.
4. Serve as the main contact for practical requests and queries related to Bottle Books.
5. Coordinate with production sites and Product Managers to ensure timely completion of information and adherence to processes.
6. Support the approval process for new vintages, including monitoring arrivals, tasting, and logging technical and compliance data.
7. Assist with Greencroft samples and reviews, including tasting and logging post-production samples for all own-label wines.
8. Support label compliance efforts and participate in sign-off procedures for label approvals.
9. Oversee Bevica product setup checks to ensure data accuracy through reports generated by IT systems.
10. Keep product information updated on Brandbank.

What kind of person are we looking for?

• Knowledge of Bottle Books and its application in product data management.
• Experience with Bevica or similar systems.
• Proficiency in using SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
• Experience in data entry and database maintenance with accuracy and efficiency.
• A scientific or technical background is advantageous but not essential.
• An interest in wine is beneficial.
