Role Purpose

As a Product Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making across our digital marketing and product teams.

Your primary focus will be leveraging Amplitude to uncover actionable insights about user behaviour, product performance, and feature adoption.

You will use this insight to feed into our Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) programme to improve website and app conversion rates and downstream sales performance.

You will work closely with product owners, designers, and tech teams to translate complex data into clear recommendations that enhance user experience and support our marketing strategy.

This role involves implementing and managing Amplitude tracking and reporting across several global brands, with support from our dev and analytics agencies.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about analytics, curious about user journeys, and eager to influence product improvement through data.

Key responsibilities
  • Work with analytics agency and engineering teams to define necessary events to track across our platform, ensuring data quality and completeness.
  • Leverage Amplitude to analyse user behaviour, product usage, and feature adoption across web and mobile platforms.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, cohorts, funnels, and retention reports to support decision-making.
  • Partner with marketing, analytics, and finance to define and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify opportunities for product improvements and growth.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Help ideate and design experiments (A/B tests) to validate hypotheses and measure impact on conversion and engagement rates.
  • Collaborate with data, engineering, and analytics teams to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Advocate for a data-driven culture within the product organization by promoting best practices in analytics.
  • Stay up to date with Amplitude’s evolving features and recommend new ways to enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Deploy and manage Amplitude implementations across multiple websites and mobile apps, ensuring consistent tracking, event taxonomy, and data governance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and deliver precise data solutions. Provide training and support to ensure data is used effectively across teams.
Background and experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in product analytics, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience using Amplitude for product insights, event tracking, and cohort analysis, or other similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital product metrics (e.g., activation, retention, engagement, conversion).
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and design.
  • Familiarity with SQL and programming languages such as Python or R is desirable.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools, such as Optimizely.
  • Understanding of event taxonomy design and analytics implementation best practices.
  • Experience managing analytics across multiple digital platforms (web and mobile apps).

  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of event tracking implementation and data validation techniques.
  • Background in tech, SaaS, e-commerce, or mobile-first products is advantageous.
