Rolls-Royce is recruiting a Producibility Engineer (Component Design Engineer) for the Controls Lifecycle Engineering team. Based in Solihull/Derby with hybrid working, you will deliver design definitions that meet system and sub-system requirements for OE and MRO programs.

You will apply robust design methods, lead sub-system integration, and collaborate across manufacturing, analysis, and project teams to ensure on-time, zero-defect delivery of producible components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's in Engineering or regional equivalent
• Strong knowledge in mechanical design methodologies
• Ability to apply analytical thinking to technical problems
• Experience with product integrity / certification frameworks

Responsabilités

• Deliver design solutions for components and complex unit assemblies
• Define requirements for stakeholders (manufacturing, customers, airframers)
• Create automated workflows and MBD-based designs
• Apply lean principles and zero defects approaches
• Carry out design document QA against RRMS requirements
• Plan and manage external designs with design service providers
