Job summary

Future Publishing in Bath is seeking a driven producer to help shape the production and development of our leading digital broadcast events across brands like Future Games Show and Golden Joystick Awards.

You’ll collaborate with editors and freelancers to deliver end-to-end show creation, secure exclusive content, explore distribution opportunities, and experiment with new show elements for engaging audiences.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of current and upcoming console and PC games.
• Knowledge of the online and live event space.
• Adobe suite experience.
• Camera skills plus interview experience helpful.
• Established industry contacts and ability to expand network.
• Experience coordinating voice over talent during sessions (in-person and remote).
• Experience across live events is a plus.

Job description

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Executive Producer, you’ll help drive forward the production and development of our leading digital broadcast events. You’ll work across all of our brands depending on the schedule, including the Future Games Show, PC Gaming Show, Golden Joystick Awards and externally produced shows for commercial partners.

Elements of the role will include securing exclusive content for the shows, ways to increase distribution partners, ideas about physical activations, fresh production and filming approaches, or even new show elements.

Working with dedicated video editors and a pool of freelance resources, you’ll play a key-role in the end-to-end creation, management and delivery of each show through the year.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve

• In-depth knowledge of current and upcoming console and PC games
• Knowledge of the online and live event space
• Adobe suite experience
• Camera skills are a positive, with experience of filming and conducting interviews
• An established list of existing industry contacts and the want and ability to create more
• Experience in working with voice over talent andthe ability to organise and direct them during recording sessions both in-person and remotely
• Experience working across live events are also a positive
