Job summary

Zapp is seeking a Category Manager to lead the Produce section in London, shaping the range, quality and pricing with direct supplier accountability. You will pace a fast-moving catalog, stay ahead of seasonality, and drive continuous assortment improvements.

As the commercial engine, you’ll use data to know what sells, what’s missing, and push for best quality at the best price, coordinating with Marketing, Merchandising and Supply Chain to ensure fresh, available produce for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Category Management or Buying, ideally in Fresh/Produce.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to turn data into actionable decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace or Excel; BI tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the Produce section: range, quality, price and supplier relationships.
• Trial new and innovative ranges ahead of the market and back top products.
• Stay ahead of seasonality and build the calendar of what's coming.
• Negotiate with suppliers for best quality, price, delivery and terms.
• Turn data into action by understanding sales, waste and gaps.
• Partner with Marketing, Merchandising and Supply Chain to land availability and freshness.
