Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking an IT Applications Lead to deploy and configure procurement and commercial toolsets across SAP Ariba, CLM and supplier platforms. The role will manage technical implementation, integration and lifecycle management while collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers, both remotely and on-site.

The successful candidate will drive technical planning, verification, and governance across hybrid environments, ensuring secure, scalable deployments and high-quality

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in supplier collaboration and management toolsets.
• Experience implementing end-to-end integration architectures.
• Strong understanding of data migration principles and data quality controls.
• Knowledge of software deployment lifecycle and configuration management.
• Familiarity with secure information classification (Official/Official Sensitive).
• Experience supporting solutions across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments including SAP ERP, middleware, and APIs.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Support configuration, upgrade and integration development across SAP Ariba, Azure environments and related platforms.
• Validate technical components and data interfaces, APIs and middleware.
• Contribute to test planning and environment readiness.
• Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies and defects.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal experts to ensure solution feasibility.
• Support Programme Manager with technical planning and continuous improvements.
• Produce technical specifications, integration docs and build guides.
• Assess changes for technical impact and ensure safe implementation.
