Job summary

Leonardo UK is hiring an IT Applications Lead to deploy and configure procurement and commercial toolsets, notably SAP Ariba, CLM, and supplier collaboration platforms. You will oversee integration developments across SAP Ariba, Azure environments, and related platforms.

Based in Basildon with hybrid options across the UK, the role requires hands-on experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and a solid understanding of data migration, security classification, and multi-vendor environments.

Qualifications

• We are seeking an IT Applications Lead with hands-on experience deploying and configuring Procurement and Commercial toolsets, notably SAP Ariba, CLM solutions, and supplier collaboration platforms.
• Experience in supplier collaboration tools such as Agiloft CLM, SAP Ariba, and SupplyOn.
• Experience implementing end-to-end integration architectures.
• Strong data migration knowledge and data quality controls.
• Understanding of software deployment lifecycle and configuration management.
• Knowledge of secure information classification and its impact on design, configuration, and data flows.
• Experience supporting solutions across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments including SAP ERP, middleware, and APIs.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder environment with strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• We support configuration, upgrade, and integration development across SAP Ariba, Azure environments, and related platforms.
• We validate technical components and configurations, including APIs, interfaces, data flows, and middleware integrations.
• We provide technical input into test planning and environment readiness.
• We identify, manage, and resolve technical risks, dependencies, defects, and issues.
• We collaborate with suppliers and internal technical experts to confirm feasibility and solution integrity.
• We support the Programme Manager with technical planning, estimation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• We produce and maintain high-quality technical specifications, integration documentation, and build guides.
• We assess technical impacts of change and ensure safe, controlled implementation across environments.
• We build strong relationships with programme stakeholders to support successful outcomes.
