Job summary

Leonardo UK in Basildon is seeking an IT Applications Lead to deploy and configure Procurement and Commercial toolsets—particularly SAP Ariba, CLM solutions, and supplier collaboration platforms. The role will support technical implementation, integration, and lifecycle management across on-prem, cloud and hybrid environments, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience with supplier collaboration tools: SAP Ariba, Agiloft Contract Lifecycle Management, and SupplyOn.
• Experience implementing end-to-end integration architectures.
• Strong data migration principles and data quality controls.
• Understanding of software deployment lifecycle and configuration management.
• Knowledge of secure information classification (Official/Official Sensitive).
• Experience supporting on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments including SAP ERP, middleware and APIs.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-vendor, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Support configuration, upgrade and integration development across SAP Ariba, Azure environments and related platforms.
• Validate technical components and configurations including APIs, interfaces, data flows and middleware integrations.
• Provide technical input into test planning and environment readiness.
• Identify, manage and resolve technical risks, dependencies, defects and issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal technical experts to confirm feasibility and solution integrity.
• Assist Programme Manager with technical planning, estimation and continuous improvement.
• Produce and maintain technical specifications, integration documentation and build guides.
• Assess technical impacts of change and ensure safe implementation across environments.
• Build strong relationships with programme stakeholders to support successful outcomes.
