Procurement Support Specialist
Job Summary
Join Trustmarque as a Procurement Specialist and become a key player in managing our vital supplier relationships. You will act as a strategic partner, working collaboratively with our supply base to deliver optimal value to our customers. As the primary point of contact for your assigned suppliers, you will take ownership of commercial agreements, resolve disputes effectively, and champion their product offerings within the business. Additionally, you will support internal procurement needs, sourcing products, selecting and onboarding suppliers, and managing purchase orders.
What you’ll be doing:
Creating and maintaining relationships with your assigned suppliers
Ongoing monitoring ofsupplier performance and compliance
Negotiating commercial agreements and supply contracts
Maintaining accurate purchase records
Onboarding new suppliers, ensuring compliance to our policies and procedures
Providing support to our Bids function in responding to tender submissions
Assisting the wider business with sourcing, supplier selection and ordering for internal purchases
Maintaining data accuracy and providing reporting on key supplier metrics
Here's what we're looking for:
An understanding of the basic order process covering Purchase Orders, Invoices and Credit notes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Attention to detail with proven ability to analyse data and act based on the output.
Maintain high activity levels with a high degree of accuracy.
Good understanding of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
Bonus points:
Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
A strong desire to question existing process and seek continual improvements
