ScottishPower is seeking a skilled procurement professional to lead competitive tendering, contract negotiations and supplier management from our Glasgow base. This hybrid role focuses on delivering best value and compliant procurement across multiple high-value contracts.

You will drive cost reductions, develop contracting strategies and collaborate with various business units to ensure ethical and sustainable sourcing aligned with the Iberdrola Group Procurement processes.

Qualificações

• Educated to degree level in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience in end-to-end tender process is preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage high‑volume workload effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Drive competitive advantage and cost reductions through procurement of goods, works, and services.
• Lead tendering activity, negotiate contracts, and resolve commercial issues.
• Collaborate with the wider business to ensure timely availability of essential goods and services.
• Develop contracting strategies and negotiate contracts or framework agreements.
• Manage pre and post-contract commercial activities to ensure best value and compliance with procurement processes.
• Source requirements from ethical and sustainable suppliers with appropriate risk allocation.
• Provide sourcing and purchasing advice to stakeholders and promote consistent practices across the supply chain.
• Identify and reflect commercial risks in technical and commercial documentation.
• Oversee an annual portfolio of multiple contracts and high-value accounts.
