Job summary

Industrial Recruitment Solutions Ltd seeks an experienced Procurement Coordinator to support daily procurement activities in Rugby. You will liaise with suppliers to raise orders, compare quotations and ensure timely delivery within budget.

Six-month initial contract with strong potential to become permanent. Experience with ERP systems and supplier relationship management will be advantageous in this busy role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, buying or supply chain is required.
• You should be organised, commercially aware and able to communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience raising purchase orders and managing supplier relationships is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Raising and managing purchase orders.
• Liaising with suppliers on pricing, availability and lead times.
• Obtaining and comparing supplier quotations.
• Expediting deliveries and monitoring outstanding orders.
• Supporting supplier negotiations and cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintaining supplier and purchasing data in ERP systems.
• General procurement and purchasing administration.
