Job summary

CPM Acquisition Corp. is seeking a Buyer I to support daily purchasing activities, manage supplier communications, issue purchase orders, and assist with inventory transfers. The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making and adherence to company policies.

You will work with cross-functional teams, assist demand planning using MRP and min/max levels, and help control MRO spending while ensuring on-time deliveries and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and can-do attitude.
• Ability to build positive working relationships with team, customers and suppliers.
• Proficient in MS Excel, basic to intermediate; eager to learn Power BI.
• Basic understanding of ERP systems; SAP Business One is a plus.
• Initiative, independent worker with cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong verbal and written communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrates integrity and professionalism; respectful of cultural differences.

Responsibilities

• Support daily purchasing tasks including supplier communications and purchase orders.
• Assist in demand planning using MRP and min/max inventory.
• Help manage MRO and indirect spending for the local site.
• Track orders to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with budgets.
• Collaborate with Logistics to meet regional and global deliveries.
• Identify process improvements in purchasing and supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.
