Job summary

CPM Acquisition Corp. is seeking a Buyer I to support daily purchasing activities and supply chain processes at the local site. You will handle supplier communications, issue purchase orders, and assist with inventory transfers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project budgets.

The role emphasizes data-driven procurement and adherence to company policies, safety, and regulatory requirements, with opportunities to grow skills in ERP systems and BI tools.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related purchasing experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support daily purchasing tasks: supplier comms, create/issue POs, inventory transfers.
• Assist demand planning using MRP and min/max levels.
• Manage MRO and indirect spend for the local site.
• Purchase various third-party products and equipment.
• Track orders for on-time delivery and budget alignment.
• Collaborate with Logistics to meet regional/global deliveries.
• Identify process improvements in purchasing and supply chain.
• Ensure safety, legal, and regulatory compliance in purchasing.
