Job summary

CPM Acquisition Corp. is seeking a Buyer I to support daily procurement activities and ensure smooth purchasing operations at our United Kingdom site. You will work with cross‑functional teams to process supplier communications, purchase orders, and inventory transfers.

The role emphasizes data‑driven decisions, compliance with policies, and ongoing improvement of procurement processes while collaborating with global teams and maintaining high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years related purchasing/procurement experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel with basic Power BI willingness.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with team, customers, and suppliers.
• Basic understanding of ERP systems (SAP Business One a plus).
• Proactive, independent, and collaborative across functions.
• Strong verbal and written communication to interact with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support daily purchasing tasks: supplier communications, PO creation, inventory transfers.
• Assist demand planning using MRP and min/max levels.
• Help manage MRO and indirect spending for the site.
• Assist with multiple third‑party product categories and equipment purchases.
• Track orders to ensure on-time delivery and budget alignment.
• Collaborate with Logistics to meet regional/global deliveries.
• Identify process improvement opportunities in purchasing and supply chain.
