Job summary

Lush in Poole, Dorset, seeks a Manufacturing Procurement Specialist to join the Procurement team. You will manage raw materials and packaging procurement, ensure ethical and cost-effective purchasing, and work closely with logistics and suppliers to meet production needs.

The role requires strong inventory control, planning, and communication skills, with a Living Wage ethos and a commitment to sustainable practices. Permanent, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management and material requirement planning.
• Able to use Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
• Good planning and supplier relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain items on the system with accurate codes and descriptions.
• Plan safety stocks to meet seasonal demands.
• Raise Purchase Orders with correct price and signed suppliers.
• Ensure required documents (MSDS, COA) are available.
• Plan and optimize orders for cost efficiency and ethical considerations.
• Collaborate with logistics on freight plans and space management.
• Report on fulfilment and efficiency metrics monthly.
