Job summary

Itchyfeet is seeking a Head of Procurement, PMO, and Governance to lead strategic procurement, portfolio governance, and value delivery. You will guide the executive team on commercial decisions, oversee the PMO Manager and Procurement Manager, and ensure discipline in investment choices across the group.

The role requires extensive senior experience in procurement or governance, strong financial acumen, and senior leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience in procurement, project governance, or related field.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including supplier negotiation and investment analysis.
• Experience in oversight of project portfolios and governance practices.
• Knowledge of supplier risk management and internal controls.
• Proven ability to advise senior leaders and produce actionable recommendations.
• Excellent leadership, influencing, and communication skills with strong judgement capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and relevant procurement or project management systems.
• Experience in telecommunications, technology, or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with governance across multiple jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated procurement, project management, and governance strategy.
• Translate strategy into annual priorities and performance indicators, reviewing progress and escalating decisions.
• Advise the CFO and executive team on commercial value, portfolio priorities, and governance risks.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve outcomes, and enhance value of investments.
• Lead and develop the Procurement Manager and PMO Manager, setting objectives and collaboration.
• Oversee procurement policy, sourcing decisions, and contract management for compliance.
• Monitor supplier and procurement operations, ensuring due diligence, competition, and negotiation.
• Manage property portfolio activities and alignment with operational needs.
• Ensure oversight of the project governance framework, capital allocation, and investment prioritisation.
• Maintain risk management and compliance with governance standards.
