Job summary

Searchandselect supports a client in the Isle of Man to appoint a Head of Procurement, PMO & Governance. This senior role reports to the CFO and leads three connected functions, setting strategy, standards and governance at executive level while ensuring rigour and accountability throughout the organisation.

The role requires strategic leadership, delivery oversight, and the ability to advise on commercial value, portfolio delivery and governance risk across procurement, PMO and governance

Qualifications

• Senior experience across procurement, PMO or governance with a track record of leading managers.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with cost and investment prioritisation.
• Experience advising executives and governance forums with clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated procurement, project management and governance strategy.
• Translate strategy into annual priorities, KPIs and measurable plans.
• Identify and track cost reduction opportunities and value realisation.
• Lead and performance-manage the Procurement Manager and PMO Manager.
• Set policy, priorities and standards; ensure sourcing follows delegated authority.
• Oversee contract lifecycle management and renewal decisions.
• Provide senior oversight of strategic suppliers and contracts.
• Oversee warehouse and inventory governance and stock controls.
• Set project governance framework, standards and assurance.
• Oversee Capital Review Board and Capital Allocation processes.
• Record and address material risks and control weaknesses.
• Manage insurance requirements with Finance and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous process improvements and responsible use of automation.
