Almac Group in Craigavon, Northern Ireland invites applications for a 12-month Procurement Specialist placement student role. The position is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within Pharma Services, open to students studying a science or business-related degree requiring a year in industry.

You will assist with material planning, raise purchase orders, monitor orders and support OTIF and supplier quality targets while engaging with internal teams across our global sites.

Competenze

• A Levels or equivalent and currently studying at undergraduate or postgraduate level in a science, technical or business-related discipline.
• Proven ability to adopt a methodical approach while managing multiple tasks.
• Ability to work effectively on own initiative and within a team.

Mansioni

• Support procurement of materials for manufacturing operations using production schedules and inventory reports.
• Raise purchase orders with approved suppliers and monitor orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Contribute to OTIF (On-Time In-Full) and supplier quality targets and communicate potential issues to operations.
• Support improvements to material supply across global sites.
